In the fourth year of Covington wrestling the 1975-76 Buccaneers made huge strides. The Buccs finished 3-3 in head-to-head duals and senior Rusty Kimmel set a standard of success as an individual by compiling a 21-1 record (a 95.5 winning percentage), which is the best single season record in the young history of the program.
