The 1994-95 wrestling season was a great success for the Covington Buccaneers. The team finished 13-6 in dual meets and 46-23 in tournaments for an overall record of 59-29.

Led by seniors are Jim Finfrock, Todd Vanderhorst and Rob Immel, the Buccs won the CCC Championship, were 3rd at Mississinawa Valley, 4th at Miami East, 6th at Sectionals, and 10th out of 37 teams at Districts.

Seven Buccaneers won individual league titles and seven were District Qualifiers. Senior Todd Vanderhorst advanced to state to become the 17th Buccaneer wrestling in the history of the program to qualify for state. He also joined his older brothers Craig (1983 & 1984) and Eric (1991 & 1992) in the elite class of Buccaneer wrestling as state qualifiers.

Several wrestlers made All-Area: Todd Vanderhorst and Jason Durbin were second team, Ty Schwamberger and Rob Immel made third team, while Noah Turner and Jim Finfrock were fourth team.
